 2. A rainbow is a natural phenomenon that is formed when sunlight and rain occur at the same time. It is usually seen in the sky after rain.

First, sunlight is passed through tiny water droplets in the air. When the light enters the droplets, it is bent, or refracted. Then, the light is reflected inside the droplets. During this process, the light is separated into different colors.

After that, the light is refracted again as it leaves the water droplets. As a result, the colors are spread out and can be seen as a rainbow in the sky.

In conclusion, a rainbow is formed because sunlight is refracted, reflected, and dispersed by water droplets in the air.

Part 3
